Peterson, who came to Israel in 1987 by Shalom Hanoch who sought out new musicians for his band, was dubbed the "Israeli Blues King" and made the genre an integral part of Israeli culture, both by performing with his band and by performing with the best bluesists in the world.
This Monday (January 27) at 8:30 pm, a performance will be held at Peterson's Memorial Hall in memory of Peterson, who is all longing for Adam and the Giant Musician. The show, which is produced by Nili Peterson, will be directed by Yoav Kutner and will feature some of the biggest names in Israeli music: Shalom Hanoch, Berry Sakharof, Ehud Banai, Ze'ev Nechama, The Jews, Margul, Mae Fingold, Yarmi Kaplan, Eric Sinai, Danny Robs, and some One of Israel's greatest guitarists - Erez Hawk, Yehuda Hader, Shmulik Budgov, and Tsali Sigalsky. The musical production is based on Adi Rennert and artistic director Nili Peterson and Kobi Ben Atar.
