The sixth generation (which is actually an update to the fifth generation) of the Mitsubishi pickup, the L200 with which we were known by the many names Magnum, Hunter and now Tratton arrived in Israel and will be sold in five different finishes and 2x4 and 4x4 propulsion configurations.

The new design uses all components of the latest Mitsubishi models, from the ASX to the Outlander, with a large chrome front and narrow lighting units. The cabin remains in a look very similar to the outgoing version, and the fixture starts at the base with cruise control, side stairs, handsfree, the senior fixture versions also offer climate control, electric folding mirrors, rain and lighting sensors, dark windows at the rear and more. The highest finish level Decar SE also offers heated leather seats, electric orientation for the driver's seat, keyless entry and steering, control of the steering gear and more. At two high finishes, Trayton also receives the Connected Car multimedia system of all-mobile including navigation, parking apps, service, Internet radio and more.

The basic model safety systems use the familiar pull and grip electronics with 7 airbags. Advanced systems such as automatic braking, lane deviation warning are added at the Dakar finish level, while the Dakar SE finish level also adds automatic control of the lights, a dead zone vehicle warning, cross-rear traffic alert and a system for sudden unwanted acceleration.

Under the hood there are actually changes, the 2.4 liter engine with 181 hp and 43.8 kg has been replaced with a 2.2 liter engine with 150 hp and 40.8 kg.
