A major explosion, which occurred on an industrial site, shook this Friday morning the city of Houston, Texas. The shock was felt several kilometers around. The outcome is uncertain.
According to the Associated Press agency, the explosion took place in an industrial area, at 4:30 am local time (11:30 am in Paris), and was followed by a major fire.
According to KTRK, a local branch of CNN, Watson Grining and Manufacturing, a subcontractor in the petrochemical industry, located at 4500 Gessner Road, exploded.
Witnesses interviewed by KTRK-TV said they saw the wounded. On social networks, many residents report a sudden explosion and deplore blown windows, even shaken façades.
The perimeter was completely cordoned off by the emergency services and the police.
