Keïsha T., 19, was found Saturday afternoon by her mother in the bathtub filled with boiling water from the family apartment in Orvault (Loire-Atlantique), near Nantes. Only wearing a bra, the young woman had burn marks on her body, a livid face and her body had already stiffened. What put the investigators of the PJ of Nantes, seized of the investigation, on the track of a homicide.
Her mother, Patricia, had left home around 10 a.m. with her son. Keïsha had been left alone and as usual since a neighborhood conflict had broken out a few months earlier, she had locked the apartment. Upon her return, shortly before 4 p.m., Patricia notices that the door is closed but not locked. A detail that worries him immediately.
Father-in-law quickly dismissed
A few minutes later, the firefighters were called to the site, in the popular district of Plaisance, and could not but note the death of the young Keïsha, babysitter at home. The stepfather, employee of a maintenance company and present this Saturday at his work station, is quickly put out of the case.
Alerted by information this Sunday, investigators from the PJ of Nantes arrested a young man in the early afternoon. He is a 17-year-old minor, according to information from “Ouest-France”, of which we have obtained confirmation. It is an acquaintance of the victim living in this same district of Plaisance in Orvault. The day before, the day of the tragedy, he was seen at 1 p.m. below the building where Keïsha lived. White Lacoste jogging, small cap on his head, he was leashed by a mastiff and was about to enter the stairwell. This Sunday afternoon, his police custody was still in progress.
