Photo by Dave Shachar, Edit: Stick Pages"The Herzlim," a show from the creator of Waka Pippel, is a vocal theater performance that combines vocal performance with the greatest songs of Israeli music, alongside ripping humor and audience sharing. How does the show start? The crowd is waiting, the lights go down, but the band that is due - is not in sight. The six talented stage workers decide to take over and open a special Israeli show, all of which is a love song for Israeli music - from the military bands to Eli Butner, from TifaX to Static and Ben El. The Herzl, which even appeared in auditions for "The Next Star for the Eurovision Song Contest," are six unique voices, including Beat Box, together creating wonderful harmonies that do a lot of respect for Israeli culture in original and surprising arrangements. All this by vocal only, with no musical instruments. The great songs are combined with strings that salute everything we love: big bands, Israeli hip-hop, Eurovision songs, favorite TV shows, military bands, poets, love songs and more.
