Kobe Bryant was one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Aged just 41 at his death, Bryant led the Lakers to three consecutive championships from 2000 to 2002 and two more championships in 2009 and 2010. The legendary Guard was a regular member of the Olstar with 18 appearances and he was the league's top king in 2006 and 2007. His 24 and 8 jersey numbers were secreted by the Lakers as an act of respect for one of the greatest players in club history. Kobe and his daughter were on their way to training at "Academic Mamba" in the basketball team she was playing, when the crash happened and resulted in the death of nine passengers in a helicopter. Also on the flight were an actress from Gigi Bryant's team and one of her parents killed with her.
