Union Group launches Chinese GAC electric vehicles in Israel
manufacturerOrion Motors Company of George Horsh's Union Motors Group has officially launched the marketing of electric vehicles manufactured by Chinese GAC today in Israel. The first vehicle to be marketed in Israel is the GE3 electric crossover, which offers a range of approximately 309 miles between charges according to the strict WLTP standard and a 177 kW engine.
The vehicle will be marketed with a comprehensive armor package that includes leather upholstery, electric driver's seat, electric roof window, 18-inch rims, Hebrew multimedia system, keyless propulsion and more. Its price is about NIS 139,000.

During the insertion period, the company offers the first 100 customers a six-month trial period, at which point the buyer can return the vehicle and receive a credit for the purchase of Toyota or Lexus vehicles, less a monthly usage fee of about NIS 2,700 and less the cost of the home charging station.

The company also offers customers subscription solutions for nationwide charging positions from Union Motors subsidiary EV-EDGE. This is the second Chinese electric brand to enter Israel after MG from SAIC. Israel is the first market with European standards in which GAC vehicles are marketed.
