Wailing, licking, wagging: it is an explosion of uncontainable joy, the one with which the dog Lbd (Little Brown Dog) celebrated the return home of NASA astronaut Christina Koch, back from a record stay of 328 consecutive days on the Station international space (ISS). The video went viral on the web on the day dedicated to love, Valentine's Day, totaling almost 4 million views in less than 24 hours on Twitter alone.
"I'm not sure who she was more excited about. I'm glad she remembers me after a year!" Wrote the astronaut.
The video, lasting 30 seconds, shows the dog inside the atrium of the house that begins to wag its tail scratching the door as soon as it hears Christina approach her husband. When the door opens, Lbd slings out and jumps on Christina, who, surprised by the reaction, bends on her knees to greet the animal in turn. The joy is so irrepressible that the party continues even inside the house, on the carpet at the entrance, with Lbd jumping enthusiastically between Christina and her husband while they look at her incredulously.
