Appointment in Piedmont with the 4x4 Hybrid Vertical Winter Tour (ANSA)

For the second consecutive week the Piedmont Alps will host the Suzuki 4x4 Hybrid Vertical Winter Tour. After the Bardonecchia stage, the staff of Event's Way and Radio Deejay - informs a press release - will head for Prato Nevoso (Cuneo), on the weekend of 22nd of February 23 on the square of La Conca. Here will rise the Vertical Village, an itinerant village with free and free admission, which will offer entertainment, dancing, tastings, free trials of Elan skiing and Suzuki test drives.

The Suzuki appointment will allow you to know the qualities of the Suzuki HYBRID technology in combination with the 4WD AllGrip all-wheel drive during test drives, made special both by the natural setting and by the type of routes. In Prato Nevoso, as in every stage of the event, the VITARA HYBRID will be exhibited inside the village and a well-assorted fleet of vehicles will be made available, which includes specimens of each HYBRID AllGrip model in the catalog. On trial there will be IGNIS HYBRID and SWIFT HYBRID, the only hybrids under four meters in length to also be equipped with all-wheel drive. The AllGrip Auto system automatically transfers torque to the rear wheels as soon as the front wheels lose traction, improving traction and stability.

In Prato Nevoso you can then test VITARA HYBRID and S-CROSS HYBRID, which instead adopt AllGrip Select all-wheel drive. This scheme enhances the versatility of the two models and gives the pilot the opportunity to choose between four driving modes based on the situation to be faced or the driving style, to always have the ideal set-up.

Hamamatsu's HYBRID technology makes lightness and compact dimensions a key element. The fundamental component is the Integrated Starter Generator, which acts as an alternator, starter motor and electric motor and is powered by lithium-ion batteries placed under the front seats, where they do not take away useful space from the passenger compartment and the trunk. The accumulators store the energy recovered by the ISG in slowdowns and then return it to the ISG when it has to start the heat engine or provide it with additional torque at low revs. In addition to the Prato Nevoso event, on the weekend of 22 and 23 February the HYBRID models can also be admired and tested in all Italian Suzuki dealers.
