Land Rover Defender: A lot of new, but proven strengths
Everything about the current Defender is new, says Land Rover . The off-roader is building on a completely new platform. The design is of course adapted to the current zeitgeist, but the characteristic short body overhangs at the front and rear, which contribute to good off-road capabilities, have remained.
A technical treat is the new Terrain Response 2 program , which enables individual or automatically adapting traction settings on every surface. The ground clearance is a maximum of 291 millimeters, the wading depth up to 900 millimeters. Up to 900 kilograms of payload are possible.

Land Rover Defender: There is also a mild hybrid in the engine portfolio
In the usually five-seat version 110, a 5 + 2-seat configuration is also possible, the smaller 90 is offered with five or six seats. The four-wheel drive is motorized in both sizes with two diesel and petrol engines (200 to 400 hp, the latter as mild hybrid ). First there is the five-door Defender 110 , which will be available from dealers at prices starting at 55,600 euros . The smaller Defender 90 , which can be ordered now, costs from 49,700 euros . The first copies of the Defender 110 are to be delivered to customers in the spring, and the Defender 90 will be available from dealers in the summer.
