Terrible absurd drama. A man died Thursday at the end of the day after being hit by the metro in Paris, at Porte de Versailles metro station (15th), on line 12.
It is 5:40 pm Thursday when a group of drunk friends are heckling on the station platforms. One of them had the idea of urinating on the tracks. Two others laugh and push each other. He who urinates would have been unbalanced. He falls on the tracks. A metro is coming. The driver has no time to brake. The man dies crushed.
Manslaughter
The police and firefighters arrived. The man was rescued, in vain. The crime scene has been frozen. The two men were arrested for being taken into police custody. In shock, they had to be hospitalized. They should be prosecuted for manslaughter.
The RATP interrupted traffic for five hours on line 12, from 5:50 p.m. to 11:16 p.m. between Montparnasse train station and Issy town hall. The traumatized metro driver was taken care of, according to the RATP protocol, by the psychiatric unit.
The investigation was entrusted to the 3rd DPJ (judicial police district)
