Croatia: Earthquake kills one, damages Zagreb

An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 struck Zagreb this Sunday morning, in this region of the Balkans with strong seismic activity. According to the Hina agency, one person died. He is a 15-year-old boy, the Zagreb emergency services say. He was allegedly found buried under the rubble of a building.

Zagreb cathedral damaged
