Author of the offense of “usual violation of the measure of containment” applicable since March 24 and liable to six months in prison with a 3750 euro fine, Mimoun K. was released from court. But he must first stay at home, like everyone else, to fight the spread of Covid-19, before performing 105 hours of community service (TIG) when the state of health emergency is lifted, on pain of two months in prison. Ideally in a health service, according to the wish made by the president of the court. The public prosecutor had requested twice (210 hours of TIG, under penalty of four months in prison).
"Has seven people in a two-room apartment"
Around 2:30 p.m., Mimoun K. appears in the defendants' box, hoodie and hygienic mask lowered under the chin. He doesn't seem very intimidated. Habit no doubt. Released from prison in September 2019, he has already been imprisoned several times, including in drug cases. When he was younger, he went to juvenile court for acts of violence.

The fifth check takes place on the evening of March 26, three days before his arrest on March 29. Is Mimoun K. an unbreakable person who is resistant to the rules of containment? In his defense, the accused first evokes a need for care. "On March 24, I went to the pharmacy for the first time in the afternoon to buy medicine," he explains. In the evening, my hand hurt and I went out to look for painkillers. ”
According to his explanations, he then went to a pharmacy on duty, near the Porte de Vincennes. During his police custody, a doctor examined him and noted a broken hand. But was the young man really provided with a derogatory displacement certificate, as his defense claims? According to his lawyer, he would have been fined three or four times simply for failing to mention the time at the bottom of his certificate. But, according to the prosecution, Mimoun did not actually have any paper on March 24. During a subsequent check, on March 26, he would have presented a certificate, but this time with the wrong date. Other cases of the same type are to be judged in the coming days at the Paris Court.
