Our blood group could have an influence on our resistance to the coronavirus, according to a Chinese study published on the MedRxiv site. The researchers observed the distribution of blood groups in 2,173 patients infected with Covid-19 from three hospitals in Wuhan and Shenzhen, comparing it with that of uncontaminated people. They concluded that "blood group A is associated with a higher risk of contracting Covid-19 compared to other blood groups, while group O is associated with a lower risk" .
