Abarth, beginning of the year with full international awards

(ANSA) - MILAN, APRIL 07 - It was a first part of the year full of prizes for Abarth, with a shower of awards in more than one competition. The scorpion brand, which celebrated its first seventy years last year, has seen a series of titles recognized on the occasion of awards organized by two prestigious German automotive magazines, in addition to the victories achieved in February in Hungary and Slovenia in within the international project 'Best Cars 2020'. On the design front, Abarth was awarded three first places in as many categories of the competition 'The Best Brands 2020' organized by the automotive magazine Auto Bild. Readers of the magazine awarded Abarth the first place for the best design and, for the third consecutive year, they also decreed the best scorpion design in the city car and convertible categories. Motorsport Aktuell readers also cast their vote by awarding the Abarth 595 and Abarth 695 in the 'Racer of the Year' category for the election of the best cars and the best drivers of the 2019 season. 64.2 percent of the votes went to the Abarth 595/695, which took first place in the 'Minicar' category. The Abarth 595 and Abarth 695 models won the votes of the MOTORSPORT AKTUELL readers, Germans, Austrians and Swiss, who wanted to reward the #Abarth strategy of commitment in motorsport aimed at implementing racing technological solutions in series production. Finally, last February the Scorpion models also collected prestigious awards in Slovenia and Hungary where the local version of the 'Best Cars 2020' competition took place, the international project created by the German magazine Auto Motor Und Sport which saw the involvement of 21 automotive specialist media from 17 countries. In particular, the Slovenian magazine Avto Magazin gave the Abarth 595/695 the title of 'Best Cars 2020' in the 'Mini Cars' category, while the Hungarian magazine and the vezess.hu website awarded the Scorpion brand a triple victory .
