Less than 24 hours: this is the stock of certain essential resuscitation and palliative care medicines that some of the 39 Ile-de-France public hospitals-Paris hospitals (AP-HP) had on Monday April 6, according to an internal document in the Ile-de-France regional health agency. "The exchanges between health establishments work but the overall stocks decrease" , specifies the note, adding that a "stock recovered from veterinarians will be allocated quickly" . Without being sufficiently supplied, certain Ile-de-France resuscitation services will therefore have to resort to products intended for animals, as provided for in a decree published last week. A measure that does not question the quality of care (these drugs are also effective) but reveals the seriousness of the situation.
