It is a “Korean” strategy towards which the United Kingdom is heading. He will thus recruit an army of thousands - perhaps 15,000 - of "contact tracers" to promote an exit from confinement. According to the Times, the pool will be civil servants whose tasks are currently suspended as well as volunteers ready to help the NHS (public health service). The objective would be to trace, within 24 hours after diagnosis, more than 80% of people who have been in contact with an infected person. They would then be placed in quarantine. This device complements a tracking application set up by the NHS and it should be operational in three weeks, knowing that the confinement was, on April 16, extended for at least three weeks.
