The Ministry of Health strangely pretends ignorance about the upcoming use of serological tests. These have started to be deployed in medical analysis laboratories in France. They are simple to carry out with a blood test. But on the evening of April 30, the Directorate General of Health (DGS) assured that the serological tests were still being evaluated by the CNR (National Reference Center) for respiratory infections. It was inaccurate: Professor Corinne Le Guludec, president of the French National Authority for Health (HAS), confirmed at a press conference organized on Saturday May 2 that the first serological tests were evaluated "very recently "by CNR. She also says she is ready to give an opinion on their reimbursement by Social Security as soon as the Ministry of Health requests it, after having authorized the first tests.
