One of the relay antenna fires that occurred on the night of Sunday to Monday in Isère was claimed Tuesday on an Internet platform close to the ultra-left libertarian, where other similar facts had been claimed in the past.

“During the night of May 17-18, we set fire to the Haute-Jarrie relay station. At least two others were attacked simultaneously around Grenoble, "say the authors of a long text published on the Indymedia site and signed" bats transmitting fire ".

"Be constantly monitored"

“Relay antennas are among all the intruders who disfigure the landscapes. They are used for mass communication, soon even in the most remote places. Currently, 5G installations are deployed for this purpose, adds the text. We do not want a world where the guarantee of being able to communicate remotely constantly and everywhere, is exchanged for the fact of being able to be constantly monitored and controlled. ”

This claim, reported to the press by the Grenoble prosecutor's office, comes less than 48 hours after the fire of three pylons belonging to the TDF group in Seyssinet-Pariset, Jarrie and Herbeys in Isère. More than twenty similar facts have been identified in recent weeks in France, including several in Isère where investigations have been opened as elsewhere.

Ultra-left

Before this claim, the Grenoble public prosecutor's office already favored the track of “the ultra-left anarcho-libertarian”, very active in the region in recent years. A document explaining "how to destroy a relay antenna" has circulated in recent months on websites close to the ultra-left, while the movement launched calls for direct action.

The multiplication of the facts, claimed for some on Indymedia, led the public prosecutor's office to report the facts once again to the national anti-terrorist prosecutor's office, which has not yet dealt with it.
