Online retailer eBay (eBay) has signed a cooperation agreement with Gett delivery, with the aim of providing delivery service to the customer's home from today. Israeli sellers will receive a substantial discount for distribution and launch, Gett Delivery will also offer a special NIS 30 discount for purchases using the new shipping platform
The new platform will allow Israeli sellers in eBay to pay for the deliveries and ship the products via a Gett Delivery courier to pick them up from their home or business - delivering them to Israeli buyers on the same day right to the door. The process will save sellers valuable time, facilitate shipment delivery and enable item monitoring at all stages of the order and will also enable unprecedented online product ordering and delivery on the same day as many countries around the world.
Both companies indicate that the buyer will be able to track the package in real time and receive important information, such as the courier information for the call, as well as the exact time range for the courier to arrive. "This is another example of how technology and operational excellence allow us to help the largest companies in the economy focus on their core competencies and adapt to changing market demands," says Ofer Oringer, Director of Strategic Customer Division at Gett Delivery.
Anna Falkin, Director of Business Development in Israel, Eastern Europe, Russia and Africa, said: "The cooperation between the two companies is another step by eBay in a broad support program for small and medium-sized businesses that we launched when the Corona crisis broke out. Which significantly facilitated the possibilities of online commerce as the physical possibilities narrowed to a complete closure. "
