7,990 people are still hospitalized for Covid-19 infection. 125 new admissions have been identified. The balance remains negative in the intensive care unit, with 560 patients, 13 less than yesterday. Four regions (Ile-de-France, Grand-Est, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Hauts-de-France) account for 74% of patients hospitalized in intensive care.

In overseas France (Guadeloupe, Guyana, Reunion, Martinique, Mayotte), there are 222 hospitalizations, including 42 in intensive care.

The DGS also communicated on the “ clusters ”, these epidemic foci, which continue to form in France. Since May 9, it has counted " 310 grouped cases, including 5 new in 24 hours, but 187 closed ".
