A baby was seriously injured Thursday night in Montpellier in an accident. According to Midi Libre, the 18-month-old child was in his stroller alongside his mother when a biker lost control of his two-wheeler.
The craft ended up in a bus shelter and hit the stroller head on. Rescue quickly intervened.
The baby with several injuries and suffering from a head trauma was taken to the pediatric emergency department of CHU Lapeyronie.
The biker suffers from leg injuries. An investigation was opened to determine the circumstances of the accident. According to France Bleu, a car coming out of a garage cut the road off the motorcycle and seems to have thrown it off balance. The injured biker and the shocked motorist were taken care of by the emergency services.
