The implication of each other remains unclear, but the Draguignan public prosecutor's office has gathered enough evidence to implicate several individuals in the death of a 16-year-old boy on Sunday in Bras (Var). Five young people have been indicted, the prosecution announced on Thursday without giving details on the motive of the crime.
The five suspects, including two minors aged 15 and 17, were brought in on Wednesday afternoon. They have all been indicted for assassination and aggravated willful violence with temporary incapacity for work of less than eight days, said deputy prosecutor Pierre Arpaia. They were placed under a criminal deposit warrant, in accordance with the requisitions of the prosecution.

"At the end of their hearings, all acknowledged having been present at the scene of the brawl and having participated in it to varying degrees," said the prosecution on Wednesday, stressing that "at this stage, the implications of each [...] remain to be seen. specify ”and that“ the mobile is not yet perfectly defined ”.
The events occurred around 8 p.m. Sunday near the Bras stadium. Some 14 witnesses interviewed in the evening confirmed that a clash had taken place between two groups, with some young hooded men and armed with bats or knives.
The victim, originally from Manosque (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), injured with a stabbing weapon, died shortly after being taken care of. Another 18-year-old boy was seriously injured.
