After the future of the tic-tac-toe app looks uncertain in the US, amid threats from President Trump's administration to ban the use of the Chinese app, during the night between Wednesday and Thursday, Instagram launched Reels, their rival to tic-tac-toe. The launch took place in more than 50 countries around the world. Which include the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom and Australia, among others.

Just like in the Chinese Tic Tac app, Brills (in Hebrew translation: wheels of recording films) can be created 15-second clips, to which you can add lip sync and dance clips, and share as a story. "We are planning to bring Rails to other countries, including the United States, in early August. The worldwide test has proven itself," the social network said.

Last month we reported that Instagram announced that after a successful trial in Brazil and India to test and run the platform, it is expected to reach the US and 50 other countries. It has been reported that the US administration raises many questions about how users' personal data is stored. Transmits data on US citizens to the company's servers in China.

At the same time, in June the Government of India announced the blocking of 59 apps originating in China, including the Tiktok app, and immediately afterwards in Australia also threatened a similar move.
