In 1992, for the first time he voted, social activist Alon Mizrahi threw a "revival" note at the ballot box.

After that, he supported the Likud time and time again.

Today, he participates in demonstrations in Balfour, pointing to the spectrum between the joint and the Labor-Meretz.

For him, it is more than a political move, but a release from the cultural construction into which he was born - the construction that destined him, he said, to be a "racist right-wing bully who does not ask questions."

Mizrahi writes about his and all of us' freedom of choice in his first book, "Freedom. A Manifesto," which was recently published by Locus - and by definition, "deals with the longing for liberation and how to achieve it."

On the occasion of the book's release, Mizrahi was a guest on the Walla!

Culture and explained why he was not satisfied with being a social media anchor and bothered to spread his thoughts over 180 print pages, and how he became a philosopher, even though the local establishment coiled him and his ilk in completely different directions.

Mizrahi, a regular partner in the current demonstrations against the government, also responds to the claim that they are about Ashkenazi purity - "I am very sensitive to Mizrahi representation and Mizrahi visibility, and these demonstrations are the most mixed thing I have seen in Israel, in all the places I have been. "Present the existence of Israel that they deny."

"The people who come to Balfour are not supposed to exist, because apparently the left has been erased and Bibi consensus, so what hole in time do these people come from? They come from Haifa and Dimona and Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and Kfar Saba and everywhere. The claim that there are no Orientals in demonstrations "Everyone loves Netanyahu except rich Ashkenazis. It is a lie that he is at a great distance from reality."

Mizrahi also explains why he is not optimistic about Israel's future, even if his dream comes true and Netanyahu vacates his seat - "This place needs very deep psychological treatment. We have gone through a process of dehumanization and now we have to go through the opposite process. Zionism deprived us of the ability to see Arabs as human beings, and this has led to disturbances of all kinds with us.

"When you stop seeing a certain group as human beings, something in your humanity is denied.

You see yourself as a human being.

In all the different stages of life here, the establishment does not tell us the narrative that Palestinian Arabs are legitimate human beings, whose affiliation with this place is legitimate.

The consequences of this are monstrous and disastrous.

It gets crazy, and I do not know if it's our cards to be changed so deep. "

And: Why is not a fan even a football team, why not allowed to ban porn but also do not want to watch it, why must list the maturity philosophy curriculum, and why "Arabs are the only Israelis that exist today"?
