The Israeli high-tech company "Patrol" has developed a widget that helps authorities and schools deal with various emergencies, from a falling tree to unauthorized entry into an educational institution.

The system is already installed in a large number of cities and localities in Israel, ranging from kindergartens, schools, divisions, high schools and among the directors of the municipal security departments. Through the system, the directors of the Defense Department and the commanders in the authorities get a picture of the real-time situation regarding the institution's preparations to deal with various scenarios, both routine and non-routine.

The system is installed in the mobile devices of defense department principals, cadets, security guards, school principals, security coordinators and kindergarten principals. The system is also connected to various departments in municipalities, and as soon as an alert or threat from the relevant department receives it, a task is opened and response time is monitored. For example, if a safety defect is discovered in a school such as an open pit or a tree about to fall, the principal, security coordinator or security guard documents the hazard or defect that is transmitted directly to the security personnel and the relevant department, who know they must treat the hazard according to its urgency. Violence within the walls of the school or abnormal behavior of parents, the staff of the educational institution report it in real time and the treatment is done immediately by the relevant authorities.

Among other things, the system addresses one of the most troubling problems in kindergartens and the younger age groups. Each security guard has an updated list of people authorized to enter the institution, and it is updated online if there is an exceptional permit to remove a child not by one of the parents or for professionals who are to enter the institution. This prevents the possibility of a child leaving the institution where he is located by a person who has not received permission to do so, and also prevents the entry of foreign and unauthorized persons into the various institutions. In the event of an exceptional event, the list of those entering the institution appears online and is visible to the security personnel immediately.

In addition, the system is installed mapping of point guard (using GPS) of each school that needs a security guard for any time period as part of the security patrol, which allows security officer to make sure the guards are in their positions in real time, and they make the tours as required of them.

Jacob Nachum, CEO of "Patrol": "The system synchronizes between all parties in charge of the issue and allows to address in real time any problem, ensure preparation for any scenario and streamline processes that previously took a long time - such as preparations for trips. The responses we receive from the authorities who have already installed the system are excellent "Thanks to the system, all the required actions are recorded and documented in real time, without the use of paperwork and a lot of time investment to document the activities."
