Like "wedding", only in the high-tech version
The matchmaking between Tabula and Outbrain began with a round of applause and ended in a weak parting just before the big merger, just like on the reality show.
Why did this happen and why is this move true for both of them?

This is how it is when you get married after a short relationship.
At first, everything blooms and sparkles and then the difficulties are revealed.
Throw the panties on the floor, do not wash the dishes and ignore bad breath.
And so it happened at this year's wedding of the Israeli high-tech that is now on the steps of the rabbinate.
The conflict between Tabula, the Israeli unicorn, and Outbrain began when the former sought to change the terms of the deal set between them.
Rumor has it that the companies' business performance has changed in the waiting period too long for the deal to be approved by the antitrust authorities.

Even in business, as in the romantic world, it is better to say goodbye before the damage becomes greater (screenshot from "Wedding at First Sight")

The two content giants announced in October 2019 a well-publicized and exciting merger, invited the guests and like any wedding canceled in the last six months they also decided to give up the deal, after disagreements regarding the terms.
Knowledgeable sources say that in the last month Tabula has sought to reopen the agreement, change the terms of payment and not even pay cash at all.
The last year has been great for Tabula, better than its last three years combined.
Although both companies are profitable, Tabula does in 45 days what Outbrain does in 365 days - that is, there is a feeling that Tabula grabbed his head just before breaking the glass and said to herself, "How did I not sign them on a financial agreement?"
The numbers show that Tabula shows a much better performance than Outbrain and that this wedding is a bit doomed to failure in the first place.
The 2,250 merged workers will still be forced to maintain social distance.
In an age where thirsts are advertised for other advertising platforms from Google and Facebook, Tabula is the Robin Hood of maintaining the relevance of publishers, and in general, Adam Singolda is portrayed as the ultimate high-tech groom: he is talented, speaks at eye level and does not repeat the cake like his competitors.
A real unicorn.
In the end, once the cup was broken this marriage did not suit him.
To sum up: it seems better to regret before the wedding and not after, when there are already children and when the package is too difficult to unpack.
This is exactly what's going to happen between the two.
I expect Tabula to have greater success and hope that Outbrain will know how to close the gap.
If you do, each one will continue on her happy and happy path.
