This weekend the European Institute for Climate and Energy (Eike) invited to its annual conference.
A good 200 participants traveled to Munich to listen for two days as speakers present their doubts about man-made climate change.
Protesters have announced themselves.
The renowned environmental institute in Munich warned of the event in an open letter, stating that Eike was "contrary to our basic democratic rights".
Before the start of the conference, the participants' discussions revolve around the allegedly threatened end to freedom of expression and the arrogance of the supposedly liberal social mainstream.
