The trend of multirom systems is gaining more and more popularity in recent years, mainly thanks to the Sonos company.
TR Electro Stereo recently began marketing the speakers of the Scandinavian audio company - audio aro, which allows it to install its speakers in several rooms in the house and communicate with them via the WiFi infrastructure.

WiFi communication in the speakers, allows music to be streamed on them from the streaming service to which subscribers, without any interruption on the part of the smartphone.
Also, one does not have to be physically close to the speaker and one can even leave the house with the smartphone and the music will continue to play.
I took for a review the A10 compact model and the D-1 - a desktop speaker with a bit more presence.
The two speakers know how to work together and offer the distribution of music in different places in the house.

Design: Swallowed among the furniture in the house
The A10 comes in a relatively popular look with speakers - a tube structure that includes a light gray or dark gray fabric upholstery.
This speaker can sit in any room in the house, it does not take up too much space and is relatively engulfed with the furniture.
The D-1 is a rectangular speaker with a greater presence.
It features black, white or gray leather-like upholstery.
Control and application: The audio pro speakers connect to music via a WiFi connection, but unlike the vast majority of Sonos speakers, they also offer Bluetooth support, only with an outdated standard 4.0.
Using Bluetooth is of course less convenient than with WiFi, because it also requires the smartphone to be in the area of the speaker and any message or incoming call will stop / turn down the music.
On the other hand, sometimes you want to listen to content that does not exist in the streaming service in the cloud and this gives a solution to this.

Audio pro: Spotify playlists at the touch of a button
Both speakers have a panel at the top that allows switching between audio sources, volume control and also the option to set up playlists from Spotify and Tidal (I could not perform this option from Deezer), so with the click of a button you can start playing the list of favorite songs from Spotify without touching the smartphone .
The audio pro speakers of course support Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, but there is no option to connect to YouTube Music and Apple Music.
These options require the use of AirPlay or Bluetooth.
What I was missing in the audio pro speakers, is the ability to control voice assistants, for me this is Google Assistant.
These speakers do not have a microphone that will allow them to be given voice commands, there is some weird option to control via Amazon Alexa through the audio pro app, but it is less convenient.

I disliked the audio pro app less, both because of the slightly outdated design and because it often responded slowly that I wanted to make a switch between the speakers.
Indeed, it is simple to use, for example, when I wanted to listen to music not only in the study, but also in the living room - just drag the speaker display in the app and start listening to music elsewhere.
The most important question: How does the sound?
Metallica's new album - S&M 2 was a great opportunity to test the quality of the speakers.
We’ll start with D-1 which coped well with the slowly rising crowd roars in The Ecstasy Of Gold, which put me in an atmosphere that combines a heavy rock band with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra accompanying it in the background.
There is nothing like checking the sound of the D-1 with From whom The Bell Tolls allows you to enjoy the powerful power of the speaker, the well-felt bass and the high level of detail.
In terms of volume, while the D-1 is very powerful and I did not use its maximum, the A10 is a little less, so I got to use its maximum power.
I would have been happy to get a little more volume on the A10, so in this case maybe a combination of two speakers of the same type would do the job.
The bass in the A10 is noticeable, not like in the D-1, but you can get by with it.
The sound of the A10 fills a large room, it is pleasing to the ear, even reaching maximum volume and it is not jarring, but there is too much trouble.

Prices: The A10 sells for NIS 800 and the D-1 for NIS 1,400 (official importer of TR Electro Stereo)
.
The A10 is a compact speaker, which is probably better to buy as a pair to enjoy a better sound experience in the living room.
The D1 does cost more, but the sound it offers is simply a delight to the ears.
