As we prepare for the three-week holiday and closure, GoPro announced yesterday (Wednesday) a new version of its flagship camera - the Hero9 Black.

It comes with a 4K video capture sensor, and 20 megapixels in still photography.

Alongside this, the most notable innovation in the new version is of course the front screen - something that for the first time is integrated in the company's extreme cameras.

The camera has a HyperSmooth 3.0 video stabilizer - which shows excellent stabilization capabilities, 30 percent longer battery life compared to the previous generation, and for the first time in GoPro, the plastic packaging was replaced with a high-quality and durable case, especially suitable for travel and terrain, and offers adjustment to a variety of accessories.

"The HERO9 Black represents our commitment to providing our users with what they want," says Nicholas Woodman, founder and CEO of GoPro.

The front screen is 1.4 inches and allows you to select the angle depending on the selfie mode, when the rear view is also enlarged, and now you can find a 2.27 inch screen.

In addition, the camera can be used for live streaming on social media in 1080P quality.

Other innovations include support for partial voice control in 11 different languages, better performance at low temperatures, and dust and water resistance up to a depth of 10 meters.

At the bottom, as in previous versions, you no longer need a cover accessory to anchor the camera to a stick or tripod, as it comes with two small legs that provide the company’s dedicated connection.

"We are especially excited to open the new year and the joint activity with GoPro with such an interesting and advanced product," says Avishai Paris, CEO of Runlight, the official importer of GoPro in Israel. "As part of our strategy, to bring the Israeli technology the most advanced technological products "In the fastest time and at an attractive price, the HERO9 Black will be available for purchase in Israel after the holiday."

The price of the camera in Israel is NIS 1,990, with a full one-year warranty from Runlight

, when it will be available for sale starting in two more weeks at authorized resellers or on the company's website.

A full review will be posted soon here on the site.
