Colmobil, a Hyundai importer, has announced the start of marketing of the Hyundai Ionic electric - after it underwent a fairly deep update.

Along with a cosmetic facelift for the vehicle and the passenger compartment, you will find a Hyundai Ionic electric lithium battery with a capacity of 38.3 kW which is attached to the floor of the vehicle.

The battery feeds an electric motor with an output of 136 hp and 30.1 kg.

Hyundai's official range figures show ranges from 412 kilometers in urban driving and up to 311 kilometers in combined driving (according to the WLTP standard).

In addition, the electric propulsion system is capable of receiving a fast charge of up to 100 kW in direct current (DC). In such a connection, the charge will take less than an hour.

Charging stations for household electric vehicles will charge the large battery in 5.5 hours to a position of 32 amps or 10.5 hours of standard power outlet of 16 amps.

As with the Ionic Hybrid models, the EV version also contains an active safety system that includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, active lane keeping, driver fatigue monitoring and more.

This is in addition to 7 airbags and the usual traction and stability control systems.

The electric ionic also receives aluminum body parts to reduce the weight of the vehicle and innovative manufacturing techniques are used to improve the structural rigidity and reduce the weight even further.

The comfort equipment package contains original multimedia with an interface for CarPlay and Android Auto, full LED lighting front and rear, electric driver seat and heated front seats, heated steering wheel and tinted windows, virtual dashboard and sunroof, 16-inch alloy wheels and keyless entry and start.

And… more.

The Hyundai Ionic electric is marketed with one level of equipment and a price of NIS 159,900.
