The recipe is one of those that promise well and is the one on which the Audi RSQ3 Sportback was born.

Through its RS department, Audi has expanded its range of sports cars, introducing the new RS Q3 Sportback, a compact SUV coupé that, thanks to the 2.5-liter TFSI 5-cylinder engine, delivers the beauty of 400 Hp maximum torque.

The specific ignition sequence of the cylinders (1-2-4-5-3) contributes to the characteristic sharp and raw sound coming from the sports exhausts which in the most performing driving modes enhance the racing soul of the car.

All more than respectable numbers that do not betray the habits of the Ingolstadt house, also confirmed by the quattro drive available as standard on the car and which offers handling and agility on any road surface.

The RS care has enriched the appearance of the Q3 Sportback with elements that obviously enhance its performance setting.

The glance was successful, with the muscular lines that sculpt the body of the SUV coupé.

To make the difference, above all the details that include, among others, the 20 "alloy wheels (up to 21" as an option) available as standard, the RS sports exhaust, specific colors for the set-up (that of our test was kyalami green, although for all it is 'Hulk green') and the possibility of equipping the car with carbon ceramic brakes with glossy red or blue calipers.

Inside, technological solutions with a sure scenic effect.

At the center of the dashboard, slightly oriented towards the driver, is the 10.1 ”touch screen from which the car and navigation settings can be controlled.

The dashboard is fully digital and intuitive to use, offering a lot of information while driving.

In addition to the well-known driving modes, the extreme RS1 and RS2 are added, selectable through a button on the right spoke of the steering wheel.

By setting them, the suspension takes advantage of a specific suspension adjustment, the exhausts convey all the feeling of sportiness and the engine enhances its performance, releasing the 400 hp and 480 nm of maximum torque.

The equipment includes sports seats as standard, customizable on request with integrated head rests and honeycomb weave with contrasting stitching.

At the wheel, the agreement with the car is immediate: the S-tronic double clutch transmission and seven speeds manages the gear with serenity in the tour guide, or by exploiting the engine speed and torque to the last in sporty driving.

The management of the electronics allows you to safely exploit the considerable power available by pressing the right pedal, without ever giving up handling and agility.

Sporty, in short, but also suitable for everyday life given the availability of the most complete range of driving aids: adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, full LED headlights and parking aid system.

In conclusion, if until some time ago sports SUVs were considered something not well identified, today they are instead a consolidated reality, to the point of being among the major supporters of the sports departments of the houses.

Audi, for its part, with this new project offers a high-performance car, on a trendy body, satisfying both the sportiness and the daily life needs of its customers.

Once seated in front of the wheel, it's easy to have fun.

Prices start at € 71,100 for the Q3 Sportback, while the RS Q3 starts at € 67,900.
