Mirit Harari, the wife of radio broadcaster Didi Harari, who died yesterday at the age of 52 after a battle with cancer, is laid to rest in the Bnei Zion cemetery.

Due to Corona's limitations, the funeral is attended by only dozens of people, most of them family members and some artists and friends such as Moshe Datz, Shlomi Shabbat, Subliminal and journalist Ron Kaufman.

Yesterday, Didi Harari thanked the many comforters: "In my name and my last name, we thank the people of Israel for the warm embrace we receive during these difficult hours with the passing of our beloved Mirit."

In addition, he paid tribute to her in an exciting post he posted on Instagram in which he quoted from Hanan Ben-Ari's poem "Sun", which Shamirit loved so much: "And you will be my sun forever, you will be like a migratory bird in space."

Her daughter Noam praised her on Instagram: "The love of my life, I hope you are still up there with a smile."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was consulted by Didi Harari in one of the election campaigns, also praised her: "To our beloved friend Didi Harari, we embrace you and mourn with you and the girls for the unbearable loss of your beloved wife Mirit who fought heroically and nobly in cancer until her last moments. "Her miracle gave her the strength to accompany your daughter to the canopy. All the citizens of the country, and we among them, were deeply moved."

The president also said goodbye last night to Mirit: "My heart goes out tonight with the Harari family. The mother and wife, who were the center of the house and in light of it you came together and hoped to win everything, passed away and no longer suffer. I wish you the moments that have united you so far will continue to strengthen you. And the hope that Mirit spread in her charming and special way will always continue to illuminate our path. "

In the past year, Harari has published exciting posts in which she told about her struggle with the disease - posts that went viral and won tens of thousands of shares.

11 days ago she posted a chilling Facebook post in which she told about her deliberation whether to stay in the hospital or at home.

"The decision is not simple at all. At the hospital I am still kept alive. At home, everything can collapse at once."

She further wrote that she understands that death is near: "Every day I ask myself if today is today. I am ready for Shin Hour."
