Four employees of an Ehpad (accommodation establishment for dependent elderly people) in Aveyron have been made redundant since August 21.
La Dépêche explains that the proceedings were launched because of mistreatment of residents.
The former employees are said to have attacked people with Alzheimer's disease.
It was one of their former colleague who raised the alert at the end of July.

The elderly were reportedly deprived of food and photographed in degrading situations.
Derogatory comments were also reportedly posted on Messenger, Facebook's messaging system.
The victims are said to be on average 85 years old.
A judicial inquiry is underway to determine their number.
The facts would have spread over a period of nine months.
