Operation "clean hands" in the police of 93 continues.
After the indictments of four guards and officers in July, four new officials from the Seine-Saint-Denis security and intervention company (CSI 93) were placed in police custody this Tuesday morning in the premises of the 'General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN), the police of the police.
According to our information, these police officers were summoned as part of one of the judicial inquiries, a total of ten, which target this unit specializing in the fight against urban violence.
They are heard for at least two counts: “violence” and “forgery in public writing”.
Two of the officials - two guards and two brigadiers - are still assigned to the CSI 93. The service had been dissolved by the prefect of police Didier Lallement after the revelations on the vast scandal of police drift which would affect no less than 10% of its 150 staff but reassignments have been gradually taking place since the summer.
The other two work at CSI 75 and in the Val-d'Oise department.
Violence during arrests
Investigators suspect the police of having committed violence during police operations and disguised procedures to incriminate drug traffickers.
Such suspicions were already hanging over the four officers indicted in July.
The investigations targeting CSI 93, a once famous unit, started in the greatest secrecy more than a year ago, in particular following the report of the head of the company raising suspicions about the behavior of his men.
Since then, no less than ... 17 investigations targeting police officers from the service have been opened by the Bobigny prosecutor's office.
They target a variety of facts: dealer rackets, violence, racist remarks, illegitimate arrests, confiscation of narcotics for personal purposes, mounted or manipulated procedures ...
IGPN investigators have deployed large means to identify the offending officials, between wiretapping and sound systems in the police station and locker rooms.
