Will the new "
Covid screening and diagnostic centers
" (CDDC) improve the health situation in Paris?
Yesterday Monday, the Regional Health Agency of Île-de-France announced the emergency opening of 20 centers including 6 in Paris, to fight against screening congestion.
Centers reserved for three scenarios: holders of a medical prescription requesting a test, people who have received a message from the ARS as a contact case identified remotely, and hospital professionals or nursing homes.

attended this Tuesday the first steps of the priority centers of Place Baudoyer, the town hall of the 4th arrondissement in the Marais, and that of the town hall of the 15th arrondissement, rue Péclet, open as of yesterday Monday.

Always dense queues
First observation for the center of the Marais: the stated objective of reducing waiting times for priority people is not necessarily met.
A few moments after the opening, there is already more than 100 meters of queue, even in the street
