Bookings with Ryanair continue to be significantly below previous year's level
00.15 a.m.: In
view of the travel restrictions in the Corona crisis, the low-cost airline Ryanair only received around a quarter of the usual seasonal flight bookings at the beginning of the winter flight schedule.
Airline boss Michael O'Leary put the booking level on the TV broadcaster Sky News at 20 to 30 percent of the previous year's level.

Europe's largest low-cost airline, meanwhile, continues to offer flights to regions of Spain that the federal government classifies as a corona risk area and for which a travel warning applies.
According to the planned rule, returnees must be in quarantine in Germany for at least five days from mid-October.
New York's governor is planning his own vaccine tests
00:05:
Apparently out of concern for the safety of a vaccine that the Trump administration may have prematurely approved, the US state of New York is planning its own investigation of a potential active ingredient.
"How the federal government has dealt with the vaccine, there are now serious questions about whether or not the vaccine has been politicized," said Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo.
There is a political motive for Republican US President Donald Trump to announce an agent as soon as possible before the election, Cuomo said.
He would not trust the opinion of the federal government, said the governor with a view to a possible approval of a substance.
He wouldn't recommend that to New Yorkers either.
A potentially released vaccine would first be examined by an independent New York expert committee before it could be distributed.
Cuomo and Trump had already clashed in March when the first wave of the pandemic hit New York hard.
Trump critics fear that the president wants to force approval for a vaccination before the November 3rd election - even if the substance has not yet been sufficiently tested.
Trump could consider the rapid approval a success.
Most recently, the President had described the head of the US health department as "confused" because he had said that vaccinations for the American population could not be expected until summer 2021 at the earliest.
Trump himself expects approval in the coming weeks.
