Pump selection is also activated by voice. Refueling is done only (ANSA)

In the United States, the method that allows, in 11,500 service stations of the Exxon and Mobil brands, the activation of self-service pumps and the relative payment through Echo Auto and other devices enabled for the Alexa service, as well as through the iOS and Android App for smartphones.

The result of a collaboration between Amazon and Fiserv, the system allows a secure form of payment for fuel.

Transactions are processed through Amazon Pay, which uses the same payment information stored in the customer's Amazon account.

This is - underlines a note - a great advantage in times of pandemics, because at the refueling station the customer does not have to get off and use the credit card in the payment terminals, and can remain safely in the car until the delivery - to the chosen pump - is authorized. To begin, the user can say `` Alexa, pay for the fuel '' and Alexa will confirm the station location, pump number and activate the dispenser. The only physical operation remains, that is to open the tank cap and refuel.
