Again, the results of contaminations, hospitalizations and deaths fall every day.
Since mid-August, the epidemic has regained strength in France, with values rising almost constantly.
Each day, there are now on average more than 10,000 new cases of Covid-19 (admittedly the vast majority not or not very symptomatic) detected, against 1,000 or 2,000 at the beginning of the summer.
And the increase in the number of tests does not explain everything since the positivity rate is also increasing.

With a logical time lag - we do not die on the day we are infected - the increase is reflected in the number of hospitalizations, admissions to intensive care units and deaths.
But this upsurge, sometimes qualified as a “
second wave
” (some scientists believe that the first is not over ...), is it found among our European neighbors?
More broadly, where is France located in the world?
Is she, sadly, a champion of the ... epidemic recovery?
