The man suspected of having killed his former companion with a knife on Saturday in Wissembourg (Bas-Rhin) was indicted for murder, we learned this Wednesday from the prosecution.
The 50-year-old man was imprisoned.
"If the person recognizes having put an end to the days of the victim, he claims to have acted on impulse," said the prosecution.
The suspect and the victim had been in a relationship for a few months.
The 58-year-old victim had ended it over the summer and had since met another man.
