The Loire-Atlantique department will file a complaint against polemicist Eric Zemmour after his remarks Wednesday evening on CNews against minor migrants, the president of the institution announced Thursday evening.

“The words he said on a television set are abject and racist.
They constitute a real incitement to hatred and attack minors for whom the Loire-Atlantique department has been entrusted with supervision.
As such, our community will file a complaint against this repeat offender, already convicted of insult, ”wrote in a press release the president of the department, Philippe Grosvalet (PS).
"A strong desire for integration"
"I especially want to testify that the unaccompanied minors taken care of by the Loire-Atlantique department show a strong desire for integration", continues the elected official.
"I also appeal to the television channel which must firmly condemn his words" and "must separate from this editorialist," concludes Mr. Grosvalet.

Several complaints have already been filed against Eric Zemmour, following his statements, and the Paris prosecutor's office has decided to open an investigation against him, in particular for "incitement to racial hatred".
Already sentenced last week for the same reasons to a fine of 10,000 euros, Eric Zemmour had described Wednesday evening "all" migrant minors of "thieves", "murderers" and "rapists", during a dedicated debate to the issue of unaccompanied minors after the attack last week in front of the former Charlie Hebdo premises.
