The ratio of positive cases to the new coronavirus and swabs has grown a lot and has hit a record 9.4%. Yesterday it was 8% and last Monday, October 12, it was 5.4%. The physicist Giorgio Sestili, founder and one of the curators of the Facebook page "Coronavirus - Scientific data and analysis" notes this.
The new number, Sestili noted, "indicates on the one hand that the number of positive cases is growing faster than the ability to swab and, on the other, that the contact tracing system is completely skipped".
The ratio closest to that recorded today dates back to April 14 and was 11.1%, but still not comparable because it referred to only 26,000 tampons. At the end of March, the ratio of positive cases to swabs had reached 30%
