The “miracle” molecule studied by the Institut Pasteur de Lille (IPL) for the treatment of Covid-19 would be clofoctol (trade name: Octofene).
Revealed by the specialized agency AEF Info, his secret identity was confirmed in
Figaro
by Prof. Philippe Froguel, geneticist and member of the IPL scientific council.
The immunity and transmission laboratory of the Institut de biologie François Jacob du CEA, located in Fontenay-aux-Roses, in the Paris region, has also confirmed to us that it is working on the molecule as a service provider on behalf of the IPL, without being able to give more details on the tests in progress.
The management of the IPL refused to confirm or deny the information.
