- The political intention, and that of the scientific council, has been clearly this: to take care of human life and in particular that of the most vulnerable.
That said, he did not respect the own definition of the World Health Organization, namely respect for its holistic dimension, health not being the absence of disease but a global state of well-being, physical, mental and social.
In other words, to take care of human life is to defend humanity from life, and therefore necessarily to take care of the indivisibility of life.
However, the choice of full confinement is part of a biologizing approach to life, which ultimately destroys the value of life, which is just as social, psychic, spiritual, democratic, economic.
