A police officer from the anti-crime brigade (BAC) was slightly injured by a scooter which deliberately charged at him Monday evening in E chirolles (Isère), reports the Dauphiné Libéré.
The facts unfolded in several stages.
First around 8 pm, in the Gâtinais sector then allée du Berry.
There, police officers from the Bac and the Specialized Field Brigade (BST) had just arrested a young man for infringement of the narcotics legislation.
As they were about to search his home, they were the target of projectile throws and fireworks mortars.
The authors fled.
The attackers on the run
Two hours later, in the middle of a curfew, a Bac patrol was attacked, avenue des Etats Généraux, by several people on two scooters.
These fired fireworks and airsoft ball gun mortars at the police, who responded with defense bullet launchers (LBD).
Patrols were sent in as reinforcements.
"At the sight of the police, one of the two scooters fled and deliberately hit an official of the Bac, slightly injuring his right arm", indicates in a press release the departmental direction of public security, quoted by France 3 .
One of the passengers on a scooter was hit by an LBD shot, the DDSP said.
The attackers managed to escape.
