This Tuesday, a man is in custody as part of the investigation opened after a clash which gave rise, Friday, to at least one machine gun fire in the Port-du-Rhin district in Strasbourg, we learned from the prosecution.
The man, born in 1986, presented himself to the police.
He admitted to having had a Kalashnikov in hand, then to have been disarmed by his companion who also spontaneously surrendered to the authorities.
The latter's custody was lifted during the day.

In front of them, another individual had shown up with a Scorpion submachine gun and fired at least once.
This individual, on the run, remains actively sought by the police.
According to the Latest News from Alsace, one of the three individuals was sentenced to two years in prison in 2016 for possession of arms and ammunition.
