Since the assassination of Professor Samuel Paty, "about fifteen investigations", in particular for facts of "apology for terrorism", have been opened in the capital, announces the Paris prosecutor's office, confirming information from RTL.
In detail, these investigations relate to facts "in defense of terrorism" committed on the Internet, "death threats", "public insults because of origin, ethnicity, nation, race or religion" and “provocation not followed by effect to the crime or misdemeanor”.

The investigations were, for the most part, "entrusted to the Brigade for the repression of local delinquency (BRDP)", specifies the Paris prosecutor's office.
Over 80 surveys
After the assassination of Samuel Paty who taught in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine (Yvelines), "more than 80 investigations" were opened against "all those who apologically explained in one way or another that this professor had sought it well, ”said Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin, adding that arrests had taken place.
