Apple presented the new
iPhone 12
last week
, although it left some features undisclosed, such
as the battery
, one of the secrets that the Californian company usually keeps at each event.
But regulators in China and Brazil took it upon themselves to put an end to the mystery.
According to documents published by TENAA, the communications regulatory body in China, iPhone 12 Pro Max has a 3,687mAh battery, compared to the 3,969mAh battery that integrates the iPhone 11 Pro Max model.
This
difference of about 7 percent
in capacity, however, does not seem to affect battery performance, which, according to MacRumors, would be similar in models, with a range of up to 20 hours of video playback.

For its part, Anatel, the Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency, added more details in this regard with the certification of the
iPhone 12 and 12 mini
.
The iPhone 12 mini is the smallest high-end on the market, at just 13 centimeters high, even smaller than the iPhone SE 2020, a model with 1821mAh.
According to Anatel's documentation, the iPhone 12 mini has a 2,227mAh battery, quite small, although it was somewhat predictable according to the size of the device.
Regarding the iPhone 12, the battery is 2815mAh, smaller than the 3,110mAh of the iPhone 11 and far from the 3,046mAh of the iPhone 12 Pro.

According to data from Apple, the
autonomy
of the iPhone 12 is identical to that of the iPhone 11 Pro. That 200mAh difference is complemented by the efficiency of the five-nanometer A14 processor, which makes its official debut in this generation of smartphones.
The iPhone 12 mini, according to Apple, will offer autonomy similar to that of the iPhone XS Max so, at least on paper, it should endure the day of use without the slightest problem.
Regarding the Pro models, there is no data, although the iPhone 12 Pro is expected to repeat with the 2815mAh of the iPhone 12.
