Two young Britons aged 13 and 15 were killed Wednesday in a parasailing accident on the Greek island of Rhodes, southeast of the Aegean Sea, we learned from the Greek coast guard.
A third teenager, also British, was seriously injured and is believed to be between life and death, according to local media.
"A 13-year-old girl and a 15-year-old young man were found dead on rocks near the town of Lindos in Rhodes," said an official with the press office of the Coast Guard.
The victims were blown by the wind
At the same location, the coast guard and firefighters who participated in the rescue operation found a seriously injured 15-year-old.
He was transferred to the hospital in Rhodes, capital of the city, where he was operated, according to the same source.
The three young people were on the parachute towed by a boat, the rope of which broke.
