Three weeks before the launch, we received the new Sony console • Take a look at the design of the new device - and some more details you should know

Seven years have passed since the PlayStation 4 came out until Sony announced its replacement, the PlayStation 5, which will hit stores in Israel on November 19, and will be sold starting at NIS 1,999 for the digital version.
Just before the launch, we received the new console Mishpar, the official importer in Israel, and we hope you are at least as excited as we are.

What's in the box?
Inside you will find besides the console also the game controller (remote), stand for the device - if you want to place it vertically, HDMI cable, USB-C cable and power cable arranged in an admirable manner almost inside the package, instruction booklet and other paperwork.
Tip: You should carefully remove the device from the case with the cardboard lying on a stable surface - and with both hands - as for a moment it almost falls out of my hands (a detailed explanation can be found on the box).
Design, materials and buttons
The most impressive point.
Sony did not skimp on the design of the PlayStation 5 and as soon as you take it out of the box it will feel as if a spaceship from the future has landed in your living room.
It is impressive, large, and looks like a piece of furniture that blends in great with the space.
It is made of hard plastic in black (glossy) and white (rough) colors, while in the standard version we tested you will find in the front a standard USB input, a USB-C input, and two buttons - to turn on / off and remove the discs.
In the digital version, without a disk drive, you will find a single button for on / off.
Make room
One of the least pleasant surprises in the PlayStation 5 is its dimensions, because if you planned to replace it with the old console you have in the living room, you will have to find another place for it.
It is taller than the PlayStation 4 Pro and according to the company the reason for increasing the case is to build efficient and quiet cooling solutions that will not interfere with the gaming experience.
In addition, the PlayStation 5 also weighs a little more than the old version, but this is not something that should affect your use of it at all - as long as you do not discuss it between the rooms in the house.
So where should you put it?
On the floor.
This size allows you to place it next to the sideboard vertically, if you have one, and we have not found another solution.
There is also a new sign
The recently introduced design line of the control controller, combined with the black and blue color, Sony has also incorporated in the remote control. The noticeable change is a design in two shades, with some plastic parts of the remote control body made of white plastic and other black parts.
The grip is comfortable, it feels great in the hand and the materials from which it is made are pleasant compared to the old model.
It is also larger, with larger handles accordingly, which may help you in a more comfortable grip in prolonged play.
In addition, there is a new button, called "Create", which replaces the Share button.
Clicking on it will allow you to create content that you can easily share.
As required Sony also upgraded the charging array and now the charging connection adapts itself to the European standard with a USB-C connection.
